Montmorillonite Clay is a natural clay with porous structure. After calcinated, the Montmorillonite Clay can adsorb up to 25% of its weight in water and can be regenerated for repeated use at low temperature without deterioration. The Montmorillonite Clay can lose its adsorption capacity if used in high temperature; therefore, the use of this desiccant for transport packaging should take the temperature condition into account.
